Sinsi Ong
Managing Director & Teacher
Sinsi Ong (1971) is a meditation teacher who is passionate about Tibetan Buddhism and likes Funky Soul music.
He was raised in a Chinese family and worked for 15 years as a professional live sound engineer for musicians and festivals around the world.
Since 1996, after his first pilgrimage in India, he started to practice and study meditation and Buddhism under the guidance of various teachers.
He received teachings from:
Thich Nhat Hanh, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, Orgyen Tobgyal Rinpoche, Neten Chokling Rinpoche, Khenchen Namdrol, Mingyur Rinpoche, HH Sakya Trichen, Sogyal Rinpoche, Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche and more..
From 2006 to 2019, Sinsi lived in a monastery environment as an upasaka and completed a traditional 3 year retreat of meditation and study. He meditated more than 43.000 hours.
Since 2012, he was given the opportunity to contribute as a retreat instructor, holding daily meditation classes, giving regular courses and workshops on compassion, the spiritual path and the teachings of the Buddha.
He worked with more than 4000 people from different backgrounds and cultures and assisted them in their personal reflection and meditation with joy and enthusiasm.
Since 2019, he is living in Tilburg with Sonia. They started Munsel Meditation, which aim is to connect the wisdom and love from all these teachings to everyone who is interested to practice meditation and find their unchanging goodness.
