Sinsi Ong (1971) is a meditation teacher who is passionate about Tibetan Buddhism and loves Soul music. He grew up in a Chinese family, and he worked for many years as a professional live sound engineer for music festivals all over the world.
Since 1996, after his first pilgrimage in India, he began to practice and study meditation and Buddhism under the guidance of various teachers.
He received teachings from: Thich Nhat Hanh, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, Orgyen Tobgyal Rinpoche, Neten Chokling Rinpoche, Khenpo Namdrol, Mingyur Rinpoche, HH Sakya Trichen, Sogyal Rinpoche, Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche and more ...
From 2006 to 2019, Sinsi lived in a monastery as a lay practitioner and completed a traditional three-year retreat of meditation and study.
Since 2012, he had the opportunity to contribute as a retreat instructor: giving daily meditation classes, regular courses and workshops on the spiritual path and compassion. During this time he assisted several thousand people (beginners and advanced) from different cultures in their own meditation practice.
Since 2019 he has been living in Tilburg (The Netherlands) and he started Munsel Meditation.
The vision of Munsel Meditation is:
-To benefit anyone who wants to practice meditation and compassion.
-To share the wisdom and love of the Buddha's teachings with anyone who is interested.
